7 minutes! that’s all you need to make these bomb cakes, because at times you want cake and you want it seven minutes from when you think about wanting it! plus mom will absolutely love them. A really easy last minute DIY gift for mom on her special day, and mine adores them. This isn’t my recipe, I found some on the internet and tweaked to create this one.You could also try switching up the ingredients to come up with a cake that will suit your preferences and taste.
- 4 tbsp all purpose flour
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 medium egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- A few drops of both chocolate and vanilla essence
- 3 tbsp raisins
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and then add the liquids and mix thoroughly in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a large mug to avoid overflowing.(or you could use 2 mugs like I do just to be safe)
Place the mug (or the two cups) at the center of the microwave and microwave on high for 5 minutes or until it’s stopped rising and firm to touch. Poke a fork through the cake and you know the cake is done for sure when the fork comes out clean.
Wait for the cake to cool a bit before indulging;)
